Description

    Students will be provided with the theoretical principles of health, safety, and nutrition which they will be able to apply to the early childhood curriculum.

Objectives

  • To develop the ability to follow hygienic procedures for food preparation, storage and cleanup and to serve nutritional meals.
  • To develop the ability to assess and manage illnesses and accidents.
  • To learn to recognize situations which are potentially dangerous or abusive and to take appropriate action.
