Meet Sue Obee

She/Her

Sue comes to Pacific Rim with over 25 years of practical and professional experience in the area of early childhood education. Sue has lived and worked in Victoria all her life and is the parent of two successful adult children, one of whom is an Olympic athlete. Upon attending the University of Victoria she soon discovered that her area of interest was Early Childhood Education. She graduated with a Degree in Child of Youth Care with an emphasis on Early Years in 1990 and received her ECE and Post-Basic certification at the same time. Her early work was in the area of inclusion at various quality child care programs in Victoria. For the past 19 years she has been the Manager Educator of a large inclusive parent participation preschool. She is passionate about her profession and has throughout her career supervised and mentored ECE students on their journey to becoming qualified.
