Pacific Rim Early Childhood Institute (PRECI) offers programs that lead to Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA), Early Childhood Educator (ECE), Infant Toddler Educator (ITE), and Special Needs Educator (SNE) certification in the province of BC and provinces that accept BC certifications.
- Students wishing to become eligible to apply for ECEA certification in BC, complete one of the first three courses (Health, Safety and Nutrition, Child Growth and Development, or Guidance and Caring) of the Basic ECE Certificate program to meet the academic requirements of the provincial certification.
- Students wishing to become eligible to apply for ECE certification in BC, complete the entire Basic ECE Certificate program to meet the academic requirements of the provincial certification.
- Students wishing to become eligible to apply for ITE certification in BC, complete the entire Basic ECE Certificate program and ITE Certificate program to meet the academic requirements of the provincial certification.
- Students wishing to become eligible to apply for SNE certification in BC, complete the entire Basic ECE Certificate program and SNE Certificate program to meet the academic requirements of the provincial certification.
- Students wishing to become eligible to apply for ECE, ITE, and SNE certification in BC, complete the entire Basic ECE, ITE, and SNE Certificate programs to receive an ECE Diploma from PRECI to meet the academic requirements of the provincial certification.
